Joey was one of the many racers who was more than supportive of my filming the documentary "Thunder on the Gulf". Joey later became a great friend. He always encouraged and supported me and I will be forever grateful. After losing Joey in an accident in Key West, I went back and put all the unused interview footage together and made this tribute. I hope if you knew Joey you enjoy this piece.
